My Intent And Burutu Politics –Simon Raymond

Greetings my people in Burutu constituency (1); I felicitate with you via this good will message. I wish you all prosperous years ahead.

Since the inception of our disrupted 20 years of Democracy, the indigenous people have been battling how and who can set them free from among the choices that they have made through the ballot. This has caused a lot of nightmares and apathy for the people of Burutu constituency 1 as billions of naira accrued to this oil rich constituency through the Delta State government from their representatives over the years.

According to sources, a whooping total sum of #500, 000 000 ( five hundred million naira) is given as constituency development every year. This is not inclusive of the billions of naira accruing to this constituency for development and empowerment of the people through the various MDAs.

According to sources, it was said that DESOPADEC, a Delta state agency that is in charge of developing the people through the allocations from the oil from this oil rich constituency and the NDDC, a federal agency meant to develop the Niger Delta through the directors and committee members.

This massive looting has led to pains, starvation and death of many young men.

I therefore pray that they should remain steadfast and that good times are ahead. I urge them to continue to participate. The economy will be diversified to business and production.
