JUST IN: Nollywood Veteran Actor, Sadiq Daba Is Dead

Veteran Nollywood actor, Sadiq Abubakar Daba is dead.
Oasis Magazine (OM) gathered that Daba died on Wednesday evening after a long and excruciating battle with leukemia and prostrate cancer.
One of the top officials of NTA confirmed the passing away of the actor.
Many well meaning Nigerians including billionaire Femi Otedola donated money for his treatment abroad some months back.

Others that mobilized funds for him were Azuka Jebose , Soni Irabor, Sen. Dino Melaye and some other senators.
In 2015, Daba won Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor for his role as “Inspector Waziri” in October 1.
He had his secondary education at St. Edward’s Secondary School. He got higher degrees in many institutions including Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria.
Daba has worked as a broadcaster for Nigerian Television Authority. His acting career came to prominence in the late 1970s, starring in Cockcrow at Dawn.
