Delta: Ukah To Head Democracy Day Thanksgiving Committee

Delta State Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Patrick Ukah, has been appointed by the State Governor, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, as the Chairman of a seven-man thanksgiving committee for Delta State May 29 Democracy Day celebration.
According to a letter signed by the Secretary to Delta State Government (SSG), Mr. Chiedu Ebie (Esq), the terms of reference for the committee is to plan the 2021 Democracy Day thanksgiving for the state government.

Other members of the committee include the Commissioner for Youths Development, Comrade Ifeanyi Egwuyenga, Commissioner for Women Affairs, Community and Social Development, Mrs. Flora Alanta, Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing Development and Urban Renewal, Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo and Special Adviser to the Governor on Religious Matter.
Others are Apostle Syvanus Okorote, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties, Mr. Raymond Mgbakor, Executive Assistant( Chaplain), Ven. Charles Osemenam, while the Permanent Secretary in the State Ministry of Women Affairs, Community and Social Development, Mrs. Kevwe Agas, will serve as Secretary of the committee.
