2021 Workers’ Day: Delta Speaker, Oborevwori Hails Workers’ Dedication, Commitment

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has commended Nigerian workers in general and workers in Delta State in particular for their dedication and commitment to duty as they celebrate the 2021 Workers’ Day.
The Speaker in a press statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Dennis Otu, also enjoined the workers to ensure that there is industrial harmony between employers of labour and employees.

The Speaker who described workers as creator of wealth said that; “As we celebrate Workers’ Day, I join millions all over the world to felicitate with the Nigerian workers for their dedication and commitment to creating wealth because you are creators of wealth. Your dedication and commitment to work are evident and let us collectively strive for industrial harmony at all times through collective bargaining “.
While acknowledging the daunting financial challenges nations around the globe are currently going through, the Speaker prayed that Nigeria pulls through to enable workers in the country benefit more from the common patrimony and then wished the workers happy May Day celebration.
