See Those Who Were Absent From The Southern Governors Meeting In Asaba
It’s no longer news that the entire Southern Governors in Nigeria converged at the Asaba State house Tuesday to discuss some pressing issues facing the region.
This will be the first time in a long while, that all Southern Governors will come together to hold a crucial meeting.
Recall that the issue of insecurity in the region has been one that has left many Governors seeking for help from federal level, as the Southern part of the country has come under serious attack from bandits and unknown gun men in recent times.

According to reports, some of the major talking points from the meeting which held at the Asaba State house included that of the ban of open grazing in the region, and also the need for restructuring.
The Governors also want the presidency to convoke an urgent national dialogue, in the light of the current issues facing the country.
While most of the Governors were in attendance, only two were said to be absent from the meeting, which happens to be in the persons of Mr Gboyega Oyetola, and Mr Ben Ayade, Governors of Osun and Cross Rivers State respectively.
