Political Appointments: Group Berates Okowa
Rights group, Center for Human Rights and Public Complaints, CHRPC, has berated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state over what they described as recycling of politicians in the state.
The acting national President, Comrade Lucky Emubejere, who spoke with newsmen in Asaba advised Okowa to appoint leaders with fresh ideas rather than allowing political interest guide his choice of whom to appoint in the state.
He described the recent appointment as political compensation and lobbying of political friend who do not merit such appointment.
In his reaction he said; “Governor Okowa wants to use his last two years in office to turn Delta state to his own family and friends business.”

Comrade Lucky Emubejere also lamented bitterly that other human rights organization remain silent in the face of bad governance by Okowa.
Governor Okowa should stop recycling his political friends in the state, Deltan’s deserve the best.
