BREAKING: Adamawa Governor, Fintiri Approves Selection Of Biyapo As New Murum Mbula

Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the selection of Bwaltam Bentley Biyapo as the New Murum Mbula.
Bwaltam Biyapo succeeds Murum Joram Joel Fwa OON who died on May 17, 2021 after reigning for 26 years.
Until his appointment as the New Mbula Monarch, Biyapo was a Route Commander with the Road Safety Commission.
A statement by Humwashi Wonosikou, Press Secretary to the Governor Fintiri said, Biyapo was among the four front runners who contested in the selection process from the Muzong Clan of the Mbula Traditional Council.
Born on 17th September, 1975, Bwaltam Bentley Biyapo studied Agricultural Economics at the Modibbo Adama University Yola. He holds a Masters degree in Agriculture and Rural Sociology.

“On behalf of the Adamawa State Government, I congratulate you on your appointment and wish you a successful and peaceful reign as Murum Mbula,” Fintiri said.
The announcement of the new Murum Mbula will now settle the dust of succession between the Fwa and Muzong ruling class following heightened tension in the chiefdom.
