Nigerian Ambassador Presents Letter Of Credence To Congo President
The Nigerian Ambassador appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari to the Republic of Congo, Engr Omar Suleiman has officially presented his letter of Credence to President Felix Tshisekedi.
Omar in a phone interview with our correspondent said the official exercise is a lead that made him hit the ground running in building bilateral ties in the area of mineral products Congo is known for.

According to him mineral products constitute most of the country’s total exports and diamonds account for almost one-half of the trade revenue, saying these are some of the areas the two countries will establish stronger ties.
He said the Republic of Congo also has great deposits of Copper, Cobalt, Gold, Coltan, Zinc, Tin, Tungsten, and good in consumer products which include textiles, plastics, footwear, processed foods, beverages that can attract Nigerian investors.
He said: “I presented a letter of credence with which President Muhammad Buhari appointed me as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of Congo.”
The Adamawa born politician had a successful career in Nigeria Port Authority and retired as Managing Director of the organization assured to make a good representation that will sell Nigeria well in DR Congo.
