Oghara Poly Set For Her Maiden SUG E-voting Election
As part of the reform initiative of the Rector, Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, Engr. Prof. Emmanuel A. Ogujor (JP), registered students of the Polytechnic shall be voting in the maiden E-voting SUG election of the Polytechnic.
Briefing management on their preparedness for the election, the E-voting Election Committee, assured Management that all necessary measures have been put in place for a free, fair and credible election.
The election slated for today Friday 23rd July, 2021, has a voting duration of 3hrs (9AM-12PM).

Procedure for voting are as follows:
1.) Registered student to open the web browser (Chrome or Mozilla) and enter the URL https://www.dsptvotes.com/.
2.) Student to enter his/her Matric Number.
3.) Enter Password (Surname in capital letter and date of birth). Example (if your Surname is Oghenero and your date of birth is 12th December, 2000, then your password is OGHENERO12/12/2000.
4. Click on Vote.
5. Click the position you want to vote for. This will display the candidates’ position, name and photograph.
6. Click on Vote to vote candidate of your choice.
7. Repeat steps 4 to 7 to vote for the next position/candidate of your choice.

Prof. Ogujor commended the Committee for their painstaking efforts in aligning with his reform mission stressing that with E-voting, registered students are to participate in the electioneering process from the comfort of their hostels and home.
The E-voting initiative has reduced by 50% the bottleneck that is associated with manual voting.
Prof. Ogujor wished the students a successful election.
