BREAKING: UNIBEN VC Shuts Down University Over Students’ Protests
Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin UNIBEN VC, Lilian Salami has announced the immediate closure of the University, Chris Osa Media reports
This was announced in a notice made available to journalists.
The VC while giving reasons for this action as a step to avoid break down of law and order from the protesting students, also said that all students are to vacate the school hostels not later than 12 noon on Wednesday 15th, September, 2021.
