Olorogun Obrutse Welcomes Gov. Oborevwori To Groundbreaking Ceremony Of Otovwodo Flyover Monday

Olorogun Obaro Onoriode Obrutse has joined the Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Area, Olorogun Barr. Jaro Movudu Egbo, KSC, in extending a warm and heartfelt welcome to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State, on the occasion of his official visit to Ughelli North for the groundbreaking ceremony of the iconic Otovwodo Flyover.

Governor Oborevwori, will on Monday, January 12, 2026, perform the groundbreaking ceremony.

A statement by Olorigun Obrutse on Thursday, added: “Warm Welcome to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on the Groundbreaking of the Otovwodo Flyover, Ughelli North.”

He continued: “Your Excellency, we wholeheartedly welcome you to Ughelli North Local Government Area.

“Ukodo!”

The ceremony, scheduled for 11:00 a.m., is part of the administration’s ongoing infrastructure renewal drive aimed at easing traffic congestion and improving urban mobility across the state.

Construction activities have already commenced at the project site by the contractor, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc.

The Otovwodo flyover is one of two newly approved projects by the State Executive Council, following the near completion of three earlier flyovers at PTI Junction, DSC Roundabout and Enerhen Junction.
