DELSU To Hold SUG Elections September 30

Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, will on the 30th of October elect new officials to pilot the activities of the Students’ Union Government for 2021/2022 Academic Session.
An official statement issued by the university’s Information and Public Relations Division, said sale of forms for aspirants commenced on Tuesday and ended on Thursday.
According to the said statement, screening of candidates took place today, while campaign for those that scale through the screening hurdle will take place from on Monday to Wednesday, adding that those in the race are expected to unveil their manifesto on Wednesday the last day for campaign.
Meanwhile, the management warned against wild campaigns, saying that the election will be conducted electronically and results announced same day.
Oasis Magazine (OM) learnt that elected officers will be sworn in on the 4th of October, 2021.
