PFN Inaugurates New Executive Members For Uvwie Chapter

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has inaugurated the executive of members of the Uviwe chapter of PFN with the mandate to strengthen their faith and exhibit good quality leadership while spreading the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Speaking during the inauguration of the new executive of Uvwie PFN Chapter at Church of God Mission (Praise Centre) Effurun, Delta State, the Chairman Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria,
Delta State, Bishop Dr. Kingsley Enakirerhi, said that leadership is a call to service, therefore they
should be ready to serve with humility, love, loyalty, wisdom and understanding using the word of God as a guide.

Bishop Enakirerhi called on the new executive to show leadership skill and commitment to their leadership position, adding that their tenure should be a reference point in terms of purposeful
leadership and church growth.

In his lecture titled: ‘Spiritual Leadership,’ Bishop Enakirerhi said that secular leaders (government officials) look for material gain but spiritual leadership focuses and trusts God in
everything, adding that spiritual leadership is a call to serve God and humanity.

He noted that all the leaders that were called from the old testament to the new testament are mandated to serve, stressing that spiritual leadership is a responsibility to teach and guide
God’s people.

According to him “What will you be remembered for. You are called to inspire, improve and uplift the people of God in your leadership position”.

A man who assumed a spiritual leadership position should be ready to build men, build the church of God and lead God’s people.

He prayed, advised and empowered them spiritually to lead the people of God in the Uvwie Chapter of PFN successfully in the next four years.

The newly inaugurated executive members are Pastor Joseph Ibe, Chairman, Rev. Dr. Clement Okoeguale, Vice Chairman, Rev. Emmanuel Imeleye, Secretary, Pst. Solomon Edoja, Asst. Secretary, Rev. Okede Goddy, Treasurer, Rev. Solomon Okarie, Publicity Secretary, Bishop Curtis Fianu, Adviser, Bishop Dr. Ani-Smart, Adviser, Bishop Peter Osinachukwu, Adviser, Bishop Oroh
Iteheri, Adviser, Bishop Great Omasheye, Adviser, Apst Victor Ogagaoghene, Adviser, Bishop Jerry Ejaromedoghene, Adviser, Rev. Isaac Uduarighen, Adviser, Bishop Emmanuel Ufua, Adviser and
Bishop Joshua Aiguekegbe, Adviser.

In his acceptance speech, the new chairman of Uvwie PFN chapter, Pastor Joseph Ibe said he would build on the foundation of the outgone administration and improve on the administrative system, assuring that Uvwie PFN will continue to be in the vanguard of all activities of PFN in the state.

According to him “I pledge my total support to the State Chairman, Bishop Dr. Kingsley Enakirerhi, who deemed fit to appoint me and Bishop Patrick Egwero. I promise to do my best to improve and run progressive leadership during my tenure as chairman of this chapter.”

He solicited for the support of his executive, unit chairmen, state officers, PFN officers in CAN and other ministries and stakeholders to make the new executive succeed.

The immediate past PFN chairman in.Uvwie, Bishop Joshua Aiguekegbe, said that his eight year (two tenures) recorded some achievements because of the unflinching support and commitment to the goals and ideals of their tenure; adding that they worked so assiduously and faithfully that they had a smooth sail.

Bishop Aiguekegbe listed some of the achievements of his executive and thanked various advisers, unit chairmen, other ministers in Uvwie PFN, the State executive of PFN for their support and gave glory to God for the success recorded in two tenures as executive of Uvwie Chapter of PFN.
