Eyefia Thanks God Over His Emergence As Substantive PCRC Chairman In Delta

Comrade Oliver Eyefia at the weekend held a special Thanksgiving Mass/Reception to appreciate God for his emergence as the Substantive Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) in Delta State.
Comrade Oliver functioned in acting capacity for several months and was elevated recently to fully pilot the affairs of the body recently.

The church service took place at Saint Peters Clavers’ Catholic Church, Urhuoka, Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area, while the reception followed immediately at Bravo Event Hall, Abraka.
The occasion had in attendance dignitaries from all walks of life.

These include National Chairman, PCRC, Amb (Dr) Faruk A. Maiyama, represented by PCRC National Vice Chairman, South West Zone, Alhaji Ibrahim Olaniyan Magaji and National Vice Chairman South South Zone, Deacon (Amb) Kenneth Otuonunyo JP.

Others are Secretary to the State Government, Hon Chief Patrick Ukah represented by Mr. Joseph Okiemutie, Comrade Anthony Edafioghor, SSA on Security and Intelligence to Governor Okowa, Hon Tony Ajaino, SA Youth Development to the Governor, Hon Felix Erhimedafe, Chairman, PDP, Ethiope East, DPO, Abraka, SP Fabian Ayameh and DPO, Mosogar, SP Egbo.

Delivering the opening remarks, CP Ali represented by Area Commander Sapele ACP Sani Nufawa, said Delta PCRC has so far performed wonderfully well.
In their separate goodwill messages, Magaji and Otuonunyo commended Delta PCRC.
According to Otuonunyo, Delta PCRC is one of the best under his jurisdiction, just as Magaji stated that since Eyefia assumed office and functioned in acting capacity, the state’s PCRC has become one of the best in the nation.
He called on stakeholders in the security sector to support Delta PCRC, adding that his expectation was that a brand new vehicle be bought for PCRC in the state that they can use to attend national events and also help them carry out PCRC function in the state.
Meanwhile, speaking at the reception, Comrade Eyefia assured those that reposed their confidence in him that his administration will deliver beyond expectation.
He called on PCRC members in the state to partner with the executive as they continue to back the Police in the state in their quest to provide maximum security and reduce crime and criminality.
Furthermore, he commended Chief (Amb) Dr. Odet Odjuvwumiderhi JP aka Bravo, Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Police Relations and Chairman, PCRC Zone 5, Benin for the love she has shown him, adding that she has taken him through the process that has brought him this far.
