“This Is Arrant Nonsense” -Igbokwe Reacts To Photos/Videos Of SUG President Escorted To Class By Security Aides

The spokesman of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, Joe Igbokwe Thursday condemned photos/videos of a sitting Student Union Government(SUG) of the Federal University of Dutse now making the rounds on different social media platforms.

In the viral video, the President of the Student Union Government could be seen being flanked and treated like a typical Nigerian politician.

The SUG President was also seen in a car with a customised plate number which reads “SUG 01FUD” as he was escorted by five security aides dressed black suits with ties on.

Although students union activism often started in the higher institutions of learning, what is seen in these viral photos is condemnable because we may be breeding another sets of students that can prove too difficult to contain their excesses in the future.

“They say this is SUG President of Federal University of Dutse, Jigawa State (FUDSUG001) arriving school for classes. We play too much in this Country. This is arrant Nonsense and totally reprehensible. Let FG stop this nonsense before it gets out of hand,” Joe Igbokwe fumed.
