We’ll Arrest Suspects Involved In Ndokwa Killings –Police

The police have vowed to arrest those involved in mysterious killings in Delta State.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, disclosed this yesterday following public outcry over mysterous killings of motorcyclists in Utue- Ogume and Emu Ebendo Communities in Ndokwa West Council of Delta State
Edafe, who confirmed the killings said the command is working round the clock to arrest the suspects.
Residents of Utue- Ogume and Emu Ebendo Communities were recently gripped with fears following the killings in the communities.
The Guardian learnt that three motorcyclists were reportedly killed and their bodies dumped inside the bush, while their motorcycles were snatched by the unknown assailants.
According to sources, one Chukwudi Ojinyenim was killed few days ago at Utue -Ogume town and his body dumped in the bush, while on November 6, an unidentified Okada rider was also strangulated to death by unknown persons around kilometres 4 Emu-Ebendo Community.

The Guardian also gathered that a middle-aged man was found dead with a deep cut on his forehead at Obikwelle bush axis, and his body has already been deposited at the mortuary.
It was further learnt that the incident happened about 5:30p.m, but one of the suspects was arrested by Emu Ebendo vigilante, who handed him (the suspect) to the police.
MEANWHILE, a 25- year-old-man, David Augustine was reportedly matcheted by a suspected herdsman in his farm.
Sources said the victim, a native of Ushie, accused the suspect of grazing his cows in his cassava farm.
This, the source said infuriated the herdsman, who attacked victim and inflicted a deep injury in one of the hands, before he was rushed to Nuel Hospital in Ashaka for treatment.
