BREAKING: Bandits Kill Kaduna Lawmaker, Gadagau

Bandits have killed Rilwanu Aminu Gadagau, member representing the Giwa West Constituency Kaduna State House of Assembly.

The sad incidence was confirmed by Shehu Sani, former Senator for Kaduna State on Wednesday via Twitter.

Shehu had in a series of tweets, called for prayers for a member of the Kaduna State House of assembly without disclosing many details.

His post read: “Pray for a member of Kaduna State House of Assembly.”

However, in a follow-up tweet at 10:35 am, Sani noted that Gadagau was shot by bandits while on his way to Kaduna and had died.

“A member of Kaduna State House of Assembly Hon Rilwanu Aminu Gadagau from Giwa LG is reportedly shot and killed by bandits on his way to Kaduna. A tragedy a day.Inna lillahi wainna Illayhir rajiun.”

The attack on Gadagau follows the recent kidnap of many travellers by bandits, who opened fire on travellers along the busy Kaduna-Zaria Road in Kaduna State.
