Christmas: Tidi Urges Warri People To Continue Living In Peace, Love, Unity
Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr Michael Tidi has urged the people of Warri South Council Area to imbibe the spirit of peace, love and unity this Christmas season.
Tidi in a Christmas message by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Francis Sadhere, expressed the need for the people of the council and the state to imbibe the values of Christmas by promoting peace.
He added that there was a need for everyone to live peacefully with their neighbours irrespective of their religious and tribal leanings.
Tidi called on all Christians and residents of the council to reflect on the virtues and teachings of Jesus Christ in their lives and activities so that the council and the state would be a better place.
The Warri South Council Boss, promised residents of the council adequate security before, during and after the Christmas celebrations.

“The reason for this season of celebration is, always has been, and will be forevermore, that Jesus came to save his people from their sins.
“God became a man; he became the savior of sinners so these sinners could by faith become the children of God and inherit eternal blessings all for the glory of God.
“I pray this season brings us to the place of peace and unending hope,” Tidi said.
