The Medical Director, Arhoano Nursing and Maternity Home in Agbarho, Ughelli North LGA, Delta state, Evangelist (Mrs) Dinah Okpos has allayed fears making the rounds in Nigeria that the economy would be worse next year considering the rate of inflation this year, saying the economy would boom if Nigerians have faith in God and confess positively.

Evang (Mrs) Okpos stated this on Wednesday at the occasion of the organization’s end of year annual Music and Christmas Festival held in its premises.

She said it is not the plan of God Almighty for His children to suffer, but that they live a comfortable life, adding that It was due to the disobedience of Adam and Eve to God’s commandment hence the situation man is passing through till date.

She however said God still had compassion on man hence He sent His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ to save mankind.

She therefore said at this age, anyone that has not given his life to Jesus Christ is in the darkness.

She said despite the handiwork of satan the devil, the children of God would continue to have joy.

She said: “God expects us, His saved children to dwell in this joy consistently, therefore, the activities of the enemy, satan, cannot stop the joy of God in our life.”

Evangelist (Mrs) Okpos said despite the state of Nigeria’s economy, the children of God must triumph, adding that for many Nigerians to stay alive from January to December this year is not their making but God’s, saying if Nigerians can stay till date despite the state of the economy, if they believe in the supreme power of God through Jesus Christ, the reason for the season and Savior of mankind, there would be suplus, come 2022.

She said: “l stand on the Word of God, the economy of Nigeria next year would boom. God is the owner of the economy. President Muhammadu Buhari will make his budget and strategise how to actualise it but God’s budget supercedes that of President Muhammadu Buhari.”

She admonished every living soul to continue to worship God Almighty through His son, Jesus Christ for His divine protection, joy among others.

Earlier in his address, the Chairman of the ceremony, Chief Comrade Obakpororo Urhoboghora said it is the grace of God that makes everybody to stay alive for days.

The Chairman who was represented by his wife, thanked the Medical Director of the organization, Evang (Mrs) Dinah Okpos for using the Nursing and Matenity Home to help humanity in the LGA, the state and the country at large just as he prayed for God’s protection for her in the years ahead.

On his part, Archbishop Wilfred Sodje said it is good to always give thanks to God considering the protection He gives to mankind always.

He said man cannot, if he were to pay, for protection He gives to man on a daily basis from, namely, accident, sickness, death, and the provision of food, man would not have been able to pay.

He therefore admonished mankind to always worship Him in songs, praises and others to His glory.

Archbishop Sodje charged all and sundry to know God Almighty through His Son, Jesus Christ to have eternal life.

The highlights of the programme which featured dance, music extravaganza, worship and praises, nine lessons and carols, prayers for the organization among others were words of exaltation titled: “Joy and comfort of the Birth of Jesus Christ”.taken from the Holy Bible by Pastor Victor Jite to the glory of God.
