Delta Police Invites Lawyer Over Allegation Of Stealing, Conspiracy And Criminal Trespass
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID)of the Nigeria Police Force, State Headquarters, Asaba has invited one Barr. Ese Gams Owe Esq., of Ese Gams Owe & Associates, No. 207 New Ogorode Road, Sapele, Delta State over an allegation of Conspiracy, Stealing and Criminal Trespass.
The invitation letter dated 31/12/2021 referenced AR: 3000/DTS/X/D10/VOL.15/33 states in parts:
“This office is investigating the above mentioned case in which it has become pertinent to invite you for a chart”.
“In view thereof, you are invited for an interface with the Deputy Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID)Asaba through the O/c Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, State CID.”

“Your prompt response to this fact finding invitation without any recourse to a reminder will be highly appreciated.”, the letter stated.”
It will be recalled, the Petitioner to the Police, Comrade Ighorhiohwunu Aghogho via a Petition dated 19/2/2021 had alleged the said Barr. Ese Gams Owe Esq., of Ese Gams Owe & Associates of criminal conspiracy of filing documents containing information of how the immediate past chief Judge of Delta State , Justice Marshal Umukoro investigated himself over an allegation of alleged child trafficking, conspiracy, perversion of justice amongst others and concocted an investigation report with the name of the National Judicial Council(NJC) and the State Security Service(SSS) and same was privately sent to Barr Ese Gams which was subsequently filed at the Ughelli North Area Customary Court on 31/1/2020 to further pervert the course of justice and prejudiced Comrade Aghogho.
In an adopted statement before the Police, the Petitioner wants the Police to determine the following issues in the course of investigating the subject matter:
Whether the document titled “counter affidavit” (Annexure A6) dated and filed 31/1/2020 sworn to by one Mr. Francis Ineroho, the litigation clerk in the law firm of Solicitors, known as Ese Gam Owe & Associates of No. 207B, New Ogorode Road, Sapele of counsel to the Plaintiff/Judgement Creditor/Respondent in the case between Engr. Odeseneka Gabriel Vs. Mr. Ighorhiohwunu Aghogho, suit number UNACC/384T/2018 originated from Ese Gams Owe, Esq?
Whether the document (Annexure A3) titled “Re: in the matter of unethical and unprofessional conducts of judicial officer: Hon Justice J.A Edun and A lawyer: Ese Gams Owes Esq” dated 24/10/2019, referenced CS.651/78 signed by E. Z. Dolor Esq (as he then was) was sent to Ese Gams Owe Esq by the Assistant Deputy Director of Courts, High Court of Justice, Ughelli.?
Whether the document (Annexure A3) dated 23/9/2021 referenced NJC/DE. HC/10/II/96 containing the seal of the chief Judge’s chamber with the inscription “CR, bring to the notice of Onojovwo, Edun J and Ese Gams” statement signed for by immediate Chief Judge of Delta State, Justice Marshal Umukoro (Retired) on 4/10/19 was sent through Ese Gams Owe, Esq. to the Ughelli North Area Customary Court?
Whether Ese Gams Owe, Esq participated in the hearing of the case between Ighorhiohwunu Aghogho Vs. Engr. Odeseneka Gabriel, suit number HCA/1M/2019 slated for 1/7/2019 at the High Court of Justice, Orho-Agbarho?
Whether Justice Marshal Umukoro(retired) personally sent to Ese Gams Owe Esq (a private lawyer) the document (Annexure A5) titled “Re: in the matter of unethical and unprofessional conducts of judicial officer: Hon Justice J. A Edun and A lawyer: Ese Gams Owes Esq”, dated 4/10/19 referenced JS/HCJ.25/VOL.IV/178 signed by Justice Marshal Umukoro himself? the statement added.
The invitation is yet to be honored by the said Barr. Ese Gams Owe Esq.
