Governor Okowa Appoints Ethiope East Indigene As SSA On Security

In what some have termed a bold and highly laudable step aimed at curbing the recent upsurge in crime wave within and around Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, His Excellency, Sen. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, has approved the appointment of an indigene of Ovu in the said council area, who Oasis Magazine gathered is a security strategist, Hon. Cyril Oromafuru Aghware, as a Senior Special Assistant to the on Security Matters.
Dr. Enaohwo Mamerhi, who disclosed this on his Facebook page, said “his appointment is particularly dear to the amiable people of Ovu inland, Abraka and its environs,” adding that they “have been grappling with the twin horrors of kidnapping and armed robbery.”

Adding: “By this appointment, H.E Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has given more bite to his avowed stand against any local and/or foreign threat to the security of lives and property within Delta State.”
“Congratulations Hon. Cyril Oromafuru Aghware. The entire people of Ethiope East LGA, and Ovu community in particular, remain particularly proud to your appointment into the inner workings of the security architecture of great Delta state,” his post also read.
