BREAKING! Bursary: DTSG Opens Online Registration Platform For Deltans In Tertiary Institutions

The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board has opened its site for online registration of
Delta State undergraduates in government approved private and public tertiary institutions for the 2021/2022 Students Special Assistance Scheme (SSAS),

A statement on Tuesday, signed by Theresa Adiabua Oliko,
Director of Information, added that this will run from Tuesday February 15, 2022 to Thursday March 17, 2022.

According to the statement, “qualified students of Delta State origin are advised to register by visiting the Board’s website www.dsbsb.dl.gov.ng, then click on Apply Here to log in the bursary application form to complete and submit their application forms online.”

To qualify, applicants must
I. Have registered with the National Identification Number (NIN),
II. Be registered full time students of only Government approved private and public tertiary Institutions (PGD, Masters and PhD students are not eligible).
III. Have a CGPA of 2.20 and above in the previous academic years examination, and
IV. Have an account with a bank
V. Be in second year (200 and above) in the university, NDII in Polytechnics/Monotechnics
and NCE II – III in the Colleges of Education
VI. Applicant must indicate their level/year and their department/course of study.

Continuing, the statement said applicants would be charged the sum of N800 (eight hundred naira),
non refundable online processing fee using their debit card, just as students were asked to download and print the online acknowledgment card for personal record.
