Nation’s Power Sector Experiencing Power Supply Disruption, BEDC Tells Customers

Benin City Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), has informed its customers across the coverage areas of Delta, Edo, Ekiti and Ondo States that “the nation’s power sector is experiencing power supply disruption as a result of low power generation which has caused significant reduction in the quantum of power transmitted for onward supply of electricity to customers.”

BEDC said this in a statement on Thursday.
“We regret the disruption in electricity our customers may experience as a result of this power shortage,” while assuring “that power supply will improve as generation of electricity picks up in National grid.”
