Tidi Mourns Death Of IRDC Chairman, Oniyesan
The Executive Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State, Dr. Michael Ejueyitsi Tidi, on Friday, expressed sadness and shock over the demise of Chairman of Chevron Nigeria Limited established Itsekiri Regional Development Committee, IRDC, Ambassador Austin Oniyesan, popularly called Gbokwa.
Ambassador Austin Oniyesan, who is serving his second term as IRDC Chairman reportedly died on Friday.
In a statement, Dr. Tidi, described Ambassador Austin Oniyesan, as a personal friend, brother and close family member.

Dr. Tidi, stated:“I am speechless, in shock over the demise of a personal friend, brother and close family member, Amb. Austin Oniyesan, it still remained a mystery because so unexpected.
”My thoughts are with his children, his immediate and extended family because no doubt a big tree that was a shade to all had been cut down, how could they cope? Oh Lord be their strength and consolation at this difficult moment!”
