2023: Gbagi Says PDP Is Dead In Delta
Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Delta State and former Minister of State for Education, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, has said that the State chapter of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), would cease to exist in 2023, adding that “what should gladden everyone’s heart is that PDP is dead in the state.”
The former minister made the assertion during his remarks while the National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam who was flanked by members of the National Working Committee were receiving some defectors from PDP and the All Progressives Congress (APC), who joined SDP on 25th June, 2022, at Ugbolokposo, Uvwie Local Government Area of the state.

The largest private investor in the state who is a founding father of the party, predicted that the 2023 governorship election will mark the end of the rule of PDP in the state.
