Delta 2023: Oborevwori Wins Big In Court
The FCT and Federal High Courts, sitting in Abuja respectively, today, 16th of June, 2022 dismissed four Suits challenging the candidacy of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.
In the said suits wherein A.T. Kehinde SAN, Ekeme Ohwovoriole SAN and Ayo Asala SAN appeared for Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, the Courts dismissed the Suits amongst others, on the ground of locus standi and lacking merits.
The FCT and FHC dismissed the suits against the Speaker on the issue of his eligibility to contest for Governorship election in Delta State.
Cost of #1.6 Million Naira were awarded against those who went to Court to challenge Oborevwori’s elegibility.
