Ferguson Onwo, A Consummate Leader – CMPG
Coalition for Media Politics and Governance, CMPG, has described the leader of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Chief Ferguson Onwo, as a visionary, pragmatic and consummate leader of high repute.
CMPG’s assertion was contained in a goodwill message on the occasion of Onwo’s birthday, signed by the Convener/Chairman, Olorogun Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, Deputy Chairman Delta North, Engr Emmanuel Momah Chuks and Deputy Chairman Delta South, Hon Toju Ekengbuda and made available to newsmen in Asaba on Monday 6th June.
The coalition noted that Onwo had exhibited high level competence and good knowledge of legislative business, which to a large extent helped in making quality Laws for good governance, prosperity, peace and security of Delta State.
“We rejoice with our indefatigable House Leader, Hon Chief Ferguson Onwo, as he celebrate another superlative birthday anniversary.

“It is a thing of joy and we rejoice with you. Your selfless service to our dear state is remarkable and worthy of commendation.
“Your leadership is one of the best in the hallowed chamber since the creation of Delta State, and still counting. Your positive and mesmerising charisma, humility, foresight and forthrightness singled you out as a progressive leader and committed democrat.
“Your synergy with Mr Speaker and colleagues speaks volume, well noted, as well as the enviable roles that you have been playing in the ongoing democratic process to produce the next governor of Delta State, in the person of our principal and incoming governor, Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, JP.
“It’s our fervent prayers that God Almighty continue to give you good inspirations, grant you divine wisdom, excellent health and prosperity, now and in the years to come,” CMPG said.
