The Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) is set to hold the year 2022 Revised Structured Training Programme (RSTP), comprising Cross-Cutting Knowledge and Job Specific Seminars, for over 5000 Education Officers in the Six Education Districts, LASTVEB and the Commission.
The Chairman of TESCOM, Mrs. Olabisi Ariyo, spoke about the exercise in Ikeja, noting that the RSTP is a prerequisite for the promotion of eligible officers in the State’s Teaching Service.
She said that all eligible Officers for promotion will undergo training on Job Specific and Cross-Cutting Knowledge programmes aimed at preparing them for optimal service delivery in the higher post they aspire for.
Her words: “The Structured Training is practically to equip our officers with relevant knowledge and update them on the programmes and policies of the government, especially as it affects education and technology, for better performance. This is apposite to the actualisation of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s T.H.E.M.E.S agenda in line with 21st-century global practices”.
