Delta Guber: APC, PDP Will Have No Chance In 2023, Says Gbagi
By Daniel Dafe
Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Delta State, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, has said that the ruling party in the state, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the All Progressives Congress, APC, will have no chance in the 2023 election.
Gbagi, who spoke to journalists on Wednesday while attending an event in Abraka, said that “people are tired of business as usual,” adding that “the youths are angry and there is poverty in the land.”
According to him, the defection of over 9,000 party members from both APC and PDP during his declaration, shows that both parties have lost their place in Delta State.

Asked what he will do if Deltans vote for him, he said: “First and foremost and most importantly, it’s to take our youths outside this joblessness environment we kept them. Secondly, there must be free education from beginning to the end, Delta has the money and resources to do it and this is the time to do it.”
Speaking further, he said he will not be controlled by any godfather, saying that this puts him ahead of other candidates.
“The situation we have today is a must that we must change things and do things the right way. There is no money in our coffers but the money are all in private banks and homes and houses. We must change that,” he said.
