Delta South: DPV Reacts To Purported Disqualification Of Diden As PDP Senatorial Candidate
The foremost political pressure group in Delta state, Delta Political Vanguard, DPV,has reacted to the reports that its national chairman and the People’s Democratic Party candidate for Delta South Senatorial district, Hon Micheal Diden, has been disqualified from contesting the Delta South Senatorial election come 2023 by an Abuja high court.
It would be recalled that Hon. Michael Diden defeated Hon. Daniel Reyeinju in the People’s Democratic Party senatorial primaries to emerge as the party’s candidate.
However, the National Assembly candidate was dragged to court over alleged forgery of his West Africa Examination Council certificate and his date of birth.

Speaking on the purported disqualification of the Delta South Senatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, the National Secretary of Delta Political Vanguard, Comrade Sanco Ese, described the rumour as a pernicious lie and a diabolical fabrication from the pit of hell.
He further asserted that those spreading misinformation deserve to be pitied.
He added: “So desperate are they for power that their latest strategy is to come up with a different lie for every day of the week just to score cheap popularity.
“They have lost control of their senses; their imagination has gone wild and they see things that are simply not there.
“All they indulge in is giving their gullible followers a daily dose of sub-standard fairy tales and dirty lies.”
He further stated that the court is yet to hear the substantive suit due to the application of his first runner up , Hon Daniel Reyeinju, to be joined in the suit.
He continued: “How can judgement be given on a suit billed to be heard on the 26th of August 2022?”
He called on party faithful and his numerous supporters to disregard the purported sack of Hon Micheal Diden A.k.a Ejele by the Federal High court in Abuja and continue to support his quest for Hon Micheal Diden to represent the good people of Delta South Senatorial district at the National Assembly come 2023.
