Pa Izeze Buried In Oginibo
The body of retired soldier and community leader, Pa Evangelist Godwin Clement Omoyovwinvrigho Izeze, aka Sgt. AMUDA YUSUF (Rtd.), was on Saturday, laid to rest at his Oginibo hometown in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The late Pa. Izeze, died at 77 at a Warri Hospital on Friday, after a brief illness.
He is survived by wife, 9 children and family members amongst whom is Comrade Reuben Izeze, the member representing Ughelli South State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.

The interment was preceded by a lying in state and a funeral service at his residence.
In his sermon titled “Who will live without dying”, Rev’d Evang. Goddey Igbuku of God’s Grace Ministry, Oginibo, said no amount of money could pay for the life of man and urged Christians to live righteously for God.
He described the late Pa Izeze as a caring father who served God truthfully until his last day on earth.
He told the children and family members to be consoled by the fact that their father lived for Christ and urged them to emulate his good virtues.
A son of the deceased, Dr Ovie Izeze who spoke at the funeral said his father was a peace loving man who stood for justice, fairness and a defender of the oppressed.
He said his late father was a devout Christian and initiated the coming of God’s Grace Ministry to Jos, Plateau State.
Dignitaries who witnessed the Christian rites of passage of Pa Izeze included the State Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Samuel Mariere, Governorship candidate of Labour Party Deacon Ken Pela, former Commissioner for Water Resources Dr Chris Oghenechovwen, former Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Barr. Edewor Omonemu, Asiwaju Sola Adebayo, Olorogun Godwin Sito, Comrade Oghenevwegba Ohwofarodor, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Mr Nelson Egware among others.
The late Pa Izeze was born on December 16, 1944. He joined the Nigerian Army in 1967 and retired in 1992 as a Sergeant.
