Pinnick Told Me He Won’t Run For NFF President Again –Idah Peterside

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Idah Peterside, has said that Amaju Pinnick told him that he will not run for another term as President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
The former goalie who is in the race to take over as NFF president, said Pinnick told him he is done with the passion of NFF president during two separate phone conversations recently.
Peterside who spoke on Channels TV live programme, Sunrise Daily on Thursday, added that Nigeria’s football can go on without Pinnick at the saddle.
But, new development showed that the NFF president may go for another term due to pressure form a future stakeholders.
He said that Pinnichk should be a man of honour and his words by refusing the pressure to contest,

Unverified reports showed that the election scheduled to hold next month will be shifted to January.
Reacting, Peterside said that no individual, not even CAF and FIFA have a say in when the election will hold, adding that any date beyond September will be an illegality.
According to him, on Tuesday, the board will meet and the issue will be looked into.
Asked if Pinnick has performed well, he said that is left for the NFF boss to determine if he has performed well for the eight years he has led the NFF.
