The Unguided Utterances Of Gbagi On Okowa, Oborevwori, Does Not Reflect Real Cultured Traits Of An Urhobo Man –Oharisi
By Daniel Dafe
In response to pressmen on the utterances of Kenneth Gbagi in a video interview widely spread on the media most especially the social media, Prince Sir Elvis Oharisi (JP) Ksc, chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has frowned and condemned in its entirety the unguided utterances of Chief Kenneth Gbagi on the personality of the Governor and of the Speaker in an interview he granted that is circulating on the social media.
According to him, in the video interview, Gbagi unveiled his uncultured attitude, saying it is least expected of an elder like him in calling an elected lawmaker and a serving Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly unprinted names in the name of politics.
He said: “Mr Speaker been an honourable man, a lovely father and a caring husband who has not been found wanting or convicted, is free as the bird in the air.”

Adding: “He visits anywhere he wishes in and out of Nigeria.”
Continuing, he said that “RT. Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori is the longest serving Speaker in Delta State House of Assembly, Deputy National Chairman of the Conference Speakers of Nigeria and the Delta State PDP Gubernatorial Candidate whose acceptance cuts across religion, party line and the youth body doesn’t deserve the continuous attacks and blackmail at this time that Deltans does not wish anything more than RT. Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.”
On Gbagi’s attack on the Governor, he said: “The Urhobos are known for their well cultured utterances and respect for people of honour and authority. For Chief Kenneth Gbagi an Urhobo man to address Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa a former Council Chairman, former Commissioner, former SSG, former Senator of Federal Republic of Nigeria, a sitting Governor that has done so well and the Vice President of Nigeria by God’s grace come 2023 as “Ifeanyi” shows he doesn’t have respect for people of honour. And such attitude of his does not truly reflect real cultured traits of an Urhobo man.”
“After all, all we know of him before he was appointed Minister of State for Education was that he owned Robbinson Plaza and a less than one star hotel that stands the risk of heavy trucks ramming into it because it is too close to the road. Kenneth Gbagi’s name has not entered the ballot not talk of been a Governor. So he should learn how to respect a Governor. He is not Governor and from the way he is going he doesn’t have the character to be Governor.
In all these, the Delta State PDP Gubernatorial Candidate RT Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori and our principal the Executive Governor of Delta State and the incoming Vice President of Nigeria Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa remain focused and dedicated to duty. All these are coming because of the victory they have foreseen come 2023 general election for our party, PDP candidates from the National level to the State level,” he said.
