Delsu PRO Urges SUG To Maintain Peace, Resolve Issues Amongst Students

The Public Relations Officer, PRO, of the Delta State University, DELSU Abraka, Chief Edward Agbure, has urged the newly sworn in executive members of the Students’ Union Government, SUG, in the institution to maintain peace and resolve issues amongst students.
Chief Agbure, said this during an exclusive interview with Oasis Magazine in his office, on Tuesday.
“The Student Union Executive (SUG) is an important arm of the school administration”, Chief Agbure said.
Recall that new SUG leaders were recently sworn in.

Speaking on the relevance of his position as PRO, Agbure said that the position of the PRO is a unit in the Vice Chancellor’s office, whose duty is to handle and interact with both print and electronic media houses, whilst providing the latest information of the institution to the media houses.
The university’s image maker, who is also the Deputy Registrar of the University, stated that students of the University are very lucky, as the ASUU strike did not jeopardize their academics.
“It is my desire that during my time, I am able to take this unit to a great rank among other universities”, Chief Edward Agbure added.
