The executive of Isoko Youth Assembly, IYA, has passed a Vote of Confidence on its duly elected National President,  Comrade Onoriode Omagufi, a former Nigeria – International footballer (substitute to Austin Jay Jay Okocha of the Nigerian Super Eagles) administration as President and for driving on his campaign promises to the youths of Isoko ethnic nationality.

This was contained in a statement issued by executives of Isoko Youth Assembly, as part of the resolution reached from the general emergency meeting of the Assembly, held at Isoko Youth Assembly Worldwide Secretariat,  Ozoro headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State.

The statement which was duly signed by 8 members of the executive of Isoko Youth Assembly and 12 clan chairmen of the Assembly,  reads in parts; “They appreciated the gesture of Mr Paul Agbama and other Board of Trustees members for deeming it fit to get the association registered to give formidable voices and reflect the true identity of Isoko Youth worldwide.

“The house unanimously passed VOTE OF CONFIDENT on the duly elected PRESIDENT, COMRADE ONORIODE OMAGUFI of OVRODE,  for driving on his campaign promises to the youths of Isoko ethnic nationality.

“Passed VOTE OF NO CONFIDENT on the Board of Trustees Chairman and self acclaimed Grand Patron (PAUL AGBAMA) of OLOMORO and his (Paul Agbama) elder sister who is also the Board of Trustees Secretary (STELLA ENABOJE-AGBAMA) of OLOMORO for unlawful act and conspiracy for alleging forging a purported document that is currently flying on social media that, there was a General Meeting of the body and Agbama later digressed the meeting to be Board of Trustees thereby indicting other BoT members to have agreed and impeached our most selfless, workaholic, youth general (Comrade Onoriode Omagufi, the President General of Isoko Youth Assembly-IYA Worldwide) that was duly elected and officially sworn-in after securing the majority votes.”

The statement further added; “The assembly also placed INDEFINITE SUSPENSION on the 2nd Vice President (MATTHEW OLOMU) of IYEDE, Paul Agbama’s immediate younger sister and Women Leader (INSIGHT OBROZIE-AGBAMA) of OLOMORO, and Public Relations Officer (STANLEY IDUDU) of IDHEZE-IRRI for conspiracy.

“That, it is an unlawful act for someone like Paul Agbama to have mobilized men from other parts within Isoko on Friday 21/10/2022, led by Matthew Olomu, and accompanied by “Omote Isoko and her husband” to have severely beaten up an Ozoro youth just because the victim asked for an increment for a service he rendered from the actual agreed six thousand naira (6,000.00) to twenty-five thousand naira (25,000.00) to convene the relief materials from Ozoro to the camps of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP), which was left and stayed in the vehicle for good TWO DAYS, having selfishly conspired and received huge amount of monies into the association’s account with the name of “Isoko Youth Assembly Foundation and Omote Isoko TV”. An act that would have caused skulls rolling between Isoko Youth Assembly and Ozoro Youth Assembly if not for the intervention of the Ozoro Oletu who called the youth President, Comrade Kesiena to arrest the raging situation.

“Paul Agbama’s refusal to present the copies of the association’s constitution given to him by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) for review and possibly for amendment for effective execution of purpose and give guides to members/officials for almost 7-months.

“Paul Agbama’s greediness to have converted the FIFTEEN SLOTS of the Federal/Tompolo Oil Pipelines Surveillance Contracts given to IYA by Honourable Joel Onowakpo-Thomas to himself, he however compelled few associates to sign an agreement that, 60% of any amount paid should be sent to his (Paul Agbama) Bank Account at Ughelli which was UNDER DURESS that worth disturbing to every genuine individual.

“Inappropriate signatories to IYA Bank Account  where Paul Agbama conspired with his distance relative, Emmanuel Edefa Owhe of Olomoro and they have been withdrawing the Isoko youths’ funds indiscriminately at wish, and unnoticed to others.

“For Paul Agbama conniving with Matthew Olomu to always impersonating most offices of the First Elected National Executives.

“For Paul Agbama always busting that, he does not conducted an election to elect anybody as National Executive. That, the Isoko Youth Assembly-IYA belongs to him (Paul Agbama) and not for Isoko youth.

“For Paul Agbama to always threatening the life of the President (Onoriode Omagufi) and the Pioneer President and Patron (Charles Mukoro) with unknown men. Among others desperate and improper actions.

“To this end, we urge government officials, companies operating in Isoko land, opinion and political leaders, Isoko youth leaders, the grassroots as well as all ethnic youth groups operating in Isoko nation, Delta State and Nigeria at large to disassociate themselves from any kangaroo movements, and to be utmost caution about the above affected names in order not to fall prey to their flattering words and deceitful tongues.”

Those that signed the statement include National Executives of Isoko Youth Assembly, whom are: “Comrade Rapheal Omonotomo – 1st Vice President, Comrade Eloghene Akose – Secretary General, Comrade Ajirioghene Osayeire – Organising Secretary, Comrade Dorcas Idehen – Treasurer, Comrade Obuke Monday – Speaker (Otota), Comrade Moses Anewoka – Financial Secretary, Barrister Evakohor Napoleon – Legal Adviser and Comrade Matthew Ogagaoghene – Provost.
