BREAKING: PG In Anyaoku’s Community Shot Dead
The President General (PG) of Obosi in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Hon Ike Okolo, has been reportedly shot dead.
Information has it that he was shot dead at about 8pm yesterday (Jan 2, 2022) at a petrol station located within the community by yet to be identified gunmen.
Obosi is the hometown of former Commonwealth Secretary General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku.
A video circulating on the internet showed that the community leader sitting inside his SUV in a pool of his own blood, behind the steering of the car with mouth open.
Obosi community sandwiched between Nkpor and Oba with Onitsha at the North-West, is one known for its notoriety for cult related clashes, a development the President General is said to have stood against, since mounting the saddle of leadership.

It is not clear who the killers are.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, could not be reached at the time of filing this report.
