..As Ukwuani APC Ward Chairmen Restates Loyalty To Party, Osanebi

Deputy Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi today paid a consultative visit to the palace of His Royal Majesty. Evang. Osanwata JP, the Ezhie of Ezhionum, to intimate him of his political ambitions and to also seek his blessings.

Speaking during the visit, Osanebi said he has heard on a regular basis the wonderful work of the monarch in the community, adding that Ezhie’s commitment to the well-being of his people deserves commendation from everyone.

According to Osanebi, monarch’s like the Ezhie of Ezhionum who always prioritise the collective interest of their communities above theirs, needs to be celebrated at every given opportunity.

Osanebi in closing promised the monarch that when he is elected alongside his principal, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, Ezhionum just like other parts of Delta will witness tremendous development across all sectors.

In his response, the revered monarch said he was elated to have the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate in his palace.

According to Ezhie, who is the Chairman of the Ukwuani Traditional Rulers Council, Osanebi has been a distinguished son of Ndokwa Nation over the years, whose empowerment has crisscrossed every community in Ndokwa Nation.

An excited Ezhie while praying for the success of the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate and his principal, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege in the forthcoming elections, said although he can’t get involved in partisan politics, he has a soft spot for Osanebi.

In the one hour long prayers, the monarch wished the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate and his principal, Agege well in their political sojourn.

Osanebi who was accompanied by the APC House of Representative candidate for Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency, Chief Johnson Opone, later moved to the community town hall were during the course of his interactions with the people, promised to return to empower women of the community.

In a separate development, the ten APC ward Chairmen in Ukwuani restated their loyalty to the party and Osanebi, promising to deliver the various wards for the party.
