Delta PPRO Says Only Vehicles With Factory Fitted Tinted Glasses Are Exempted From Permits

The Public Relations Officer of the Delta State Police Command, Bright Edafe, on Thursday disclosed that only vehicles with factory fitted tinted glasses are exempted from tinted permits which the police authorities have suspended for now.
He also advised those who tinted the glasses of their vehicles manually and who don’t have tinted permits before doing the tint to peel them off as they could be arrested over the tinted glasses.
Edafe was reacting to the tweets by a medical doctor who wrote that he was stopped by the police while he was on his way to the hospital and was asked why he tinted his car.

The doctor, whose Twitter handle is@Deltafirstchief, had written a series of tweets where he asked Edafe if the policemen were right to ask him about the tinted car.
However, responding to the tweets, Edafe said only factory fitted tinted vehicles are exempted from tinted permits for now as the police authorities have suspended the issuance.
He therefore advised those with manually fitted tinted glasses in their vehicles to peel them off as they are not part of those exempted from the suspension of the issuance of the permits.
