Fight Against Crime: CSP Nwabuisi, Others Committed To Residents Safety In Sapele – GROUP
… Calls For Calm, Support For Security Agencies In The Area

SAPELE- Concerned individuals, good spirited Deltans as well as other well meaning Nigerians who are residents in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State have drummed support aimed at complementing the unalloyed effort of the Divisional Police Officer, Sapele Division, CSP Harrison Nwabuisi and other security agencies in the area.
This appeal came shortly after a joint meeting of various interest groups and other civil society organization flagged off its campaign against crime and criminality recently in Sapele in conjunction with the Editorial Board of Nel Xpress Magazine at Ojolu, in Sapele Local Government Area of the state.
The group which numbered over one hundred youths from various areas of specialisation such as, the media, health, sports, environment, vocational and skills acquisition among others expressed readiness for the campaign against crime in Sapele.
Speaking on behalf of the groups, Mr. Theophilus Onome and Comrade P. Obukowho Wilfred said during the program that it is important to support our security agencies in fighting crime and criminality in our areas.
They noted that security is everybody’s business and as such urged Sapele residents to be part of this campaign against crime, noting that any society that is crime free, the people will experience development and peace.

On his part, Comrade Obukowho P. Wilfred while commending the Sapele Divisional Police Officer , CSP Harrison Nwabuisi and other security agencies for their efforts in fighting crime in the area, said that the police cannot do it alone, even as he again appealed to Sapele residents to play a watch dog role in ensuring that together and with our collective efforts, crime will be reduced if not totally eradicated from the society.
The groups will be taking the campaign to other parts of the state and called on everyone to support the movement and preach peace at all times.
