Former UBTH CMD, Michael Ibadin, Is Dead
Prof. Michael Okoeguale Ibadin, the immediate past Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) is dead.
The announcement was contained in separate statements signed by the Chairman, Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) National Welfare Committee, Dr. J.O.T. Onyia, and Chief Medical Director, University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Prof. Darlington Obaseki, and made available to newsmen in Benin City, the Edo State capital.

The death, which occurred on Saturday, has thrown the UBTH community into mourning. The statement reads: “The National Officers Committee of the Nigerian Medical Association, ably led by Dr. Uche Rowland Ojinmah, commiserates with the Nigerian Medical Association, Edo State Chapter on the demise of one of her members, Prof. Michael Okoeguale Ibadin.
“We pray that God will grant NMA, Edo State, NMA National and the family of the Ibadin, the fortitude to bear this loss.
