Ovie Omo-Agege Is Delta’s Next Governor –Ewherido
By Daniel Dafe
A chartered insurance broker, writer and author in Delta State, Francis Ewherido, has expressed optimism that the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, will win the Saturday governorship polls and take over from Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
In a Tuesday post on Facebook, the renowned marriage counsellor, disclosed that in June 2021, he had a meeting with the senator and expressed his displeasure with the deplorable state of the oil-rich state.
In his words, “from our discussion, I knew he was going to contest the governorship election.”

Adding: “Some of the things he told me are contained in the EDGE Agenda and the promises he has been making in the course of his campaign. At the end of the meeting, I promised to support him for the governorship election. I have kept to that promise and will do so to the end.”
He continued: “All the propaganda against him I am hearing is what we call channel noise in communication – a tale “full of sound and fury, signifying nothing” (Shakespeare). At the end of the day, you harden the resolve of those who have decided to support him. That is our state of mind. HE Ovie Omo-Agege is our next Governor.”
