School Resumption Test, Designed To Assess Students’ Preparedness For Learning In Delta —Asini

Delta State Government (DTSG) has said the school resumption test conducted for learners in public primary and secondary schools in the state is designed to assess the preparedness of the students for learning.

The Chief Inspector of Education (CIE) for Uvvwie Local Government Area, Mrs. Asini Vera stated this while monitoring the conduct of the resumption test in some schools in the area.

Mrs. Asini, who said that she was impressed with the manner the teachers adhered to the State Government’s guidelines on School resumption, lauded the learners for their comportment during the test .

She noted that teaching and learning activities had since commenced in various schools in the Local Government Area, adding that the pupils/ students and their teachers had assured that they would improve on their achievements in the previous terms .

While urging them to sustain their commitment to their academic activities, Mrs. Asini specifically enjoined teachers in the area to upscale their efforts towards bringing out the best out of the children.

Mrs. Asini told teachers that there was always a reward for every hard-working individual in any society, stressing that the State Government had given priority attention to the welfare of teachers in the state.
