DELSU Introduces Online Clearance For Graduating Students

Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU), has discontinued all forms of manual clearance for graduating students, with the university Management approving an entirely online clearance process through the students’ portal.

According to a statement issued by the Information and Public Relations Unit of the Vice Chancellor’s Office and contained in the university’s Official Bulletin dated Wednesday, September 2, 2026, the new system takes immediate effect.

The online clearance covers all stages of the process, including departmental, faculty, bursary, library and Students Affairs clearance.

To facilitate the implementation of the new system, Management has constituted an Online Clearance Committee comprising representatives from departments, faculties and other units involved in the clearance process.

The university said the initiative is aimed at ensuring the successful implementation of a streamlined and efficient online clearance process for all graduating students.
