“Also, we advise the governor to consider so many factors in appointing his media aides. He should look inward on those closer to the Publishers/Journalists and must understand the rudiments and operational base of the media and government.
“The governor should not allow his aides to determine the relationship that exists between the Publishers of the Community Newspapers and his government, to avoid relegating his achievements in different local governments to the background.
“We counsel you that your brilliant experience should not be eclipsed by greed and quest for selfish and personal aggrendizement because your emergence was a major pointer that politics today is tilting towards the people. It is also a pointer that when the right people are Chosen to fly the party’s flag, winning becomes seamless,” the statement added.
Continuing, ACNPN said: “Your Excellency, the best way to thank Deltans for the mandate given to you is by giving your best shot and delivering on your campaign promises.
“As the umbrella body of all practicing Community Newspaper Publishers in the State, we wish you the best as you step into the number one seat of the State.”
