Digbori Charges DBS Edjeba Warri On 24-Hour Daily Operations

The Chairman, Agbarha Warri Regency Council, High Chief Willie Atebefia Digbori JP has charged Delta Broadcasting Service ( DBS ), Edjeba, Warri on 24 hours daily operations.

He gave the charge during the condolence visit of the management of DBS Edjeba Agbarha Warri to members of Agbarha Warri Regency Council on the transition of HRM London Aforkerhi Itu JP Ememoh 11, the Ovie of Agbarha Warri Kingdom at Agbarha Warri Regency Hall Igbudu Community Warri on Tuesday 23rd May , 2023.

He reasoned that such an operation will fetch more revenue to the Delta State Government owned broadcasting station.

Digbori who also called for more recognition for Agbarha Warri Kingdom from DBS Edjeba Agbarha Warri, noted that the kingdom was not often given its due recognition as a host to DBS Edjeba Agbarha Warri.

He further charged DBS Edjeba Agbarha on its social responsibilities to the kingdom.

The Chairman, Agbarha Warri Regency Council however thanked the management of DBS Edjeba Agbarha Warri for the visit just as he informed them about the rites of passage of the Agbarha Warri monarch.

The leader of DBS delegation, Mrs Augusta Gold- Okoro had earlier explained that the visit was in respect of the transition of the transition of the monarch of their host kingdom in Warri South Local Government Area.

“We are here to condole with you on the demise of our royal father as tenants of Edjeba Agbarha Warri,” she added.

Gold – promised that DBS Edjeba Agbarha Warri will contributes its quota to the rites of passage of HRM Ememoh 11 in terms of advertisements.

Other members of the delegation were: Chief Frank Otubue , Mrs Helen Oputa , Becky Ebojoh among others.
