Idawene: Emergence Of Sheriff Was Divinely Orchestrated, Governor Okowa, A Visionary Leader, Commends Ogboru

Ambassador Oke Idawene has said that the emergence of Sheriff Oborevwori as Governor-elect was divinely orchestrated.
Amb. Idawene said this on Sunday in a statement he personally signed.
According to the statement, against all odds, Governor of the state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa supported him to win the primaries of the People’s Democratic Party, because he (Okowa) is a visionary leader.
Continuing, he said that “no amount of distractions nor litigations can deter GOD’S plan for the state.”

“Only an enemy of Delta State can and will challenge his victory.
Given his style and humility plus grassroot coupled with street credibility cum being a Speaker for two tenures, we shall have democratic dividends consolidation from where Governor Okowa took us to,” he said.
Adding: “Deltans should be ready for robust leadership and people-oriented policies packaged as the ‘MORE Agenda’.
Furthermore, he said that “irrespective of political affiliations, we should join hands to support him. I commend also the People’s General, Chief Great Ogboru for towing same line and other candidates. Every other candidate should do so by putting Delta State first.”
“Rt. Hon Sherrif emerged by divine selection not human arrangement. Governor Okowa has good foresight, loves Delta State,” he also stated, just as he urged Deltans to continue to support him in order for him to finish stronger than expected, noting that projects will be commissioned in few days time.
“Myself and thousands of my supporters will support them all the way,” he averred.
