Itsekiri Renaissance Development Association Lays Foundation Stone For ITC Resource Centre

A popular Itsekiri Group under the aegis of Itsekiri Renaissance Development Association has laid the Foundation Stone of their Information Technology Center (ITC).
The ceremony which took place on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Ode-Itsekiri (Big Warri) was attended by Chief Dr. Rowland Oritsejafor, former Minister of State for Defence and Chief Clement Maleghemi who represented His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III (CFR), the Olu of Warri as well as members of the Itsekiri Renaissance Group.

Speaking during the ceremony, Chief Dr. Rowland Oritsejafor who laid the Foundation Stone of the ITC Centre thanked the IRG for their bold initiative for taking up the project and also commended the Publisher of Warri Voice Newspaper, Mr. Femi Odonmeta for finding the group worthy for the award.
Earlier in his welcome address, the representative of the Itsekiri Renaissance Group IRG, Pharmacist Eyituoyo Akperi stated that the group is made up of seasoned men and women of like minds numbering over 250 in terms of membership strength.
According to him, the ITC Training Center Project which will cost the group about One Hundred Million Naira (N100,000,000.00) will be completed within the next one year.
Shortly before presenting the award, Mr. Femi Odonmeta, the Publisher of Warri Voice Newspaper stated that the main purpose for the award of excellence is to spur the group to do more for the Itsekiri Nation, humanity and also to encourage other well meaning organizations to borrow a leaf from them.
