Obire Promises Quality Representation To Constituency, Warri Urhobos

The All Progressive Congress ( APC ) member representing Warri South Constituency 11 at the Delta State House of Assembly, Chief ( Hon ) Benson Obire has promised quality representation to the people of Warri South South Constituency 11 and indeed Warri Urhobos.

He made the promise in an address during his condolence visit to chiefs and people of Agbarha Warri people on the transition of HRM London Aforkerhi Itu JP Ememoh 11, the Ovie of Agbarha Warri Kingdom at Agbarha Warri Regency Hall Igbudu Community on Tuesday 6th June , 2023.

Obire who is the Deputy Unuovwodo ( Representative of the Ovie of Agbarha Warri Kingdom) of Otovwodo ( Agbassa ) Community was full of appreciation for the two ancient Warri Urhobo Kingdoms of Agbarha and Okere for his victory at polls.

The lawmaker also extended his appreciation to the Itsekiris that supported and voted for him in the constituency.

He had earlier described the transition of the respected tradititioal ruler as a painful exit just as he promised to contribute his quota to the rites of passage of HRM Ememoh 11.

The Chairman of Agbarha Warri Regency Council High Chief Willie Atebefia Digbori JP in his thoughts provoking speech, charged the new member of Delta State House of Assembly to make the difference on assumption of duties.

In his contribution, the President General of Agbarha Warri Kingdom, Chief Emmanuel Ememu JP spoke in the same vein.

Ememu who is also a member of the prestigious Agbarha Warri League however strongly advised Hon Obire not to abandon those that supported him and his friends before his political elevation just as he further advised that Chief Obire to be mindful of his new friends.

On his part, the Unuovwodo of Agbarha Warri Community of Ogunu , High Chief ( Sir ) Syvelster Udi who spoke to newsmen shortly after the visit commended Chief Obire for the visit just as he expressed optimism that the lawmaker will take the constituency to greater heights and impact positively on the two Warri Urhobo Kingdoms of Agbarha and Okere based on his pedigrees as a patriotic Warri Urhobo indigene, leader in Otovwodo ( Agbassa) Community and former youth leader of Agbarha Warri Kingdom.
