DELSU SUG Keeps Promise, Distributes Customized Books, Wristbands, Others To Students

The Student Union Government (SUG), Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, led by Comr. Caleb Okupa on Thursday distributed accessories to students to enhance their academic journey at the citadel of learning.
According to the SUG President, Comrade Caleb Okupa, they provided customized notebooks, biros, and wristbands that had been previously paid for by the students themselves.
In a statement, Okupa added: “The SUG recognizes the importance of having the right tools for academic excellence and is committed to supporting the students in every possible way. These accessories aim to help students organize their thoughts, take efficient notes, and express their creativity. The SUG appreciates the contributions made by the students, as their proactive participation enables effective catering to the needs of the student body. Together, they aspire to create a conducive environment for academic growth and personal development. The SUG hopes that these accessories will be valuable assets throughout the students’ academic journey, representing unity and progress achieved through collaboration.”

Adding: “They extend their best wishes to all students, emphasizing that these accessories serve as reminders of their potential and the collective strength of the university community. Success is wished for all their endeavors.”
Students are to visit the SUG secretariat in Site 3 for the collection.
The exercise commenced on Wednesday, 12th and will end on the 19th of July, 2023.
