DELSU Postgraduate School Loses PAR, Ejovi

Principal Assistant Registrar, Exams and Records, Postgraduate School, Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka, Comrade Henry Ejovi, is dead.
He died on Friday afternoon.
An unofficial source who broke the news to Oasis Magazine, said “DELSU has lost a courageous, enthusiastic, bold and patriotic leader.”
According to sources close to the family, on Friday morning, he called the office to notify the PGD school that he will not be at work after he developed dizziness on Thursday that lasted till Friday afternoon before he was rushed to a hospital in Abraka when his condition became critical. He was declared dead on arrival by the hospital and thereafter taken to Ufuoma Morgue.
Ejovi, an Indigene of Ewu in Ughelli South Local Government of the state was a member of the popular Ukoko R’Emotor (Sons of Urhobo) club.
He served in the institution’s Registry, Establishment and Senate sections before his present position at the Postgraduate School till his death.

Reacting to the sad news, Dean, Postgraduate School, Professor Temi Akporhonor, in a phone conversation, said although he is not the official Spokesman for the university, he heard the news just like every other person, saying “it is not official yet.”
He added: “He has been with us for quite some time, heading that Unit, Exams and Records.He was diligent and harassed me to provide materials for him to work. He was a friendly man. When he comes to the office, he goes straight to his own unit. We enjoyed his services and cooperation from him.”
Late Ejovi left behind two wives and four children.
Ejovi was in his late 50s.
